Film Scout - Kingston as a Filming Location
With its immaculately preserved heritage and picturesque landscape, Kingston is certainly not camera shy. Dubbed the "New Orleans of the North," film crews from around North America and all over the world come to Kingston to frame its classical look for television and cinema. The Ontario Film Development Corporation (OFDC) has deemed Kingston as one of Ontario's premiere heritage locations for period films.
