Curling
Curling is truly a Canadian born sport which is hundreds of years old, today you can find that a great number of people all across Canada still regularly play this sport. Kingston is no exception. Kingston is home to three curling facilities and proud curling clubs open and to showcase their facilities to host curling events at the local, regional, and provincial level. Kingston is also home to the second oldest curling club in Canada, the Royal Kingston Curling Club, established in 1820. Kingston will also play host to the 2011 BDO Canadian Open, part of the Capital One Grand Slam of Curling and will be the proud host of the 2013 Scotties Tournament of Hearts.
