Staff Bios

Originally from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Paula began her career with the Canadian Forces after studying humanities at Mount Allison University in Sackville, New Brunswick.  Paula spent 17 years in communications research and satellite analysis with the Canadian Forces, with professional postings taking Paula to Kingston, Ontario; Gander, Newfoundland; Ottawa, Ontario; and San Antonio, Texas. 

In 2006, Paula returned to Kingston with her family and began a second career with the Kingston Economic Development Corporation.   Paula is the Executive Assistant to the CEO and active in all aspects of the Corporation's operations.

Currently, Paula volunteers her time with the Kingston Military Family Resource Centre where she is involved in the annual Garrison Ball auction to raise funds to support military families and with her daughters' school Parent/Teacher Association. Paula is also a member of the American Society of Administration Professionals.
