The CSTA´s mission is to increase capacity and competitiveness of communities across Canada in hosting sporting events. Some of the key objectives include:
• Providing the sport tourism industry with a credible image and profile
• Facilitate networking, educational and communication opportunities between sport and tourism partners
• Facilitate access to national tools like the Business plan template for staging a sporting event, events database, sport tourism economic assessment model and the sport tourism planning template

National Association of Sport Commissions (NASC)
The National Association of Sports Commissions (NASC) is the CSTA´s counterpart in the United States. The NASC is the primary network for communication and information sharing on all topics relating to the sports event industry.

Volunteer Kingston
